Training and Instructional Resources
new employee Orientation
This training module was created using Articulate Rise in 2024 and is still in development. It will serve as a training module and resource for new employees during their onboarding process.
A/V Panel Emulator
This interactive module was created using Articulate Storyline. It is part of a larger project to provide library patrons with an experience using classroom and meeting room technology when they cannot attend an in-person consultation. This project is still in development.
360° Virtual Room Preview
This interactive module was created using Articulate Storyline and is part of the virtual room consultation project. Patrons can navigate the 360° image of the room to find more information about the available technology and how they may want to organize furniture for their event. These room previews have also been integrated into the knowledge base articles for each room.
KNowledge Base Article
This knowledge base article serves as an example of many of the resources I have created for the faculty and staff of the University Libraries at Virginia Tech. This specific article supports campus community members who need assistance using the A/V system and other technology. It includes a 360-degree image showing a preview of the room's layout.
Podcasting in the Classroom
This website was created to accompany a presentation at the 2019 Conference of Higher Education Pedagogy at Virginia Tech. It also serves as a resource for instructors looking to incorporate a podcast assignment into their courses.
Continuity of Instruction
This website was created in response to the shift to online courses following the COVID 19 pandemic in March 2020. It contains information for instructors who had to transition their courses online for the first time to complete the Spring 2020 term.
This resource is from a previous institution and many of the videos I created have been removed.

Teaching and Learning at Lynchburg
This website was developed for an internal teaching and learning conference at the University of Lynchburg. It provides information on the keynote speakers as well as short descriptions of the breakout workshop sessions. This website enabled participants to select and attend the virtual sessions, as well as access workshop videos after the event.
This resource is from a previous institution and the videos are no longer accessible.
Beacon of Hope
